Whether you need new or recycled rail, or Other Track Material (OTM), we can fulfill the requirements – from complete turnout packages to a single trackwork component. Since Kershaw became part of our family in 1998, Progress Rail has been a global supplier of a comprehensive line of Kershaw Maintenance-of-Way (MOW) equipment, providing machines to help maintain rail infrastructure around the world. In terms of rail welding, our fixed plant and mobile welding units feature a robust design and modern control systems for unmatched productivity. Finally, we are also a resource for turnkey signaling project management and work with various railroads on all aspects of their signal design requirements, including Positive Train Control (PTC) upgrades to signal systems and PTC data mapping. Our experienced signal engineering team designs CTC systems, interlockings, and grade crossing warning systems, programs vital processor applications, upgrades rail yards, performs preliminary engineering for commuter rail systems, and provides field service and training.
